Alsulaiman Group, a leading multi-sector Saudi conglomerate, hosted a gala in Jeddah to celebrate its 40th anniversary, attended by a large gathering of economic and social figures as well as media representatives.
Founded in 1983 by His Excellency Dr. Ghassan Ahmad Alsulaiman through acquiring the world’s first IKEA franchise, the Group has since expanded to include eight companies across retail, logistics, technology, and real estate sectors. It now operates across four Gulf countries: Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, and Kuwait.
The event featured a keynote by Dr. Ghassan Alsulaiman, founder and chairman of the Group, announcing the establishment of the Alsulaiman Foundation. This non-profit aims to foster positive societal change, focusing on economic empowerment, education, the environment, and family. Through these pillars, the foundation seeks to support community enhancement and further the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by boosting economic and social development.
The celebration showcased the company’s achievements over the decades and unveiled future expansion projects.
