كما لعب دورًا محوريًا في تمكين حوكمة مجلس الإدارة الفعالة من خلال إعادة تعريف تفويض الصلاحيات للمجموعة وتفعيل لجان مجلس الإدارة، مما عزز عملية صنع القرار في جميع أنحاء المنظمة.

One of those leaders is Hazem Sukar, Chief Governance and Compliance Officer, whose strategic leadership has shaped the Group’s governance and sustainability transformation.
Since joining the Group in 2016, Hazem has led the design and implementation of a comprehensive governance framework that empowers each business unit while maintaining alignment with Group values. From IKEA, FLOW, SARH, Circle K Convenience, and Circle K Fuel, he activated tailored board and governance structures that enhanced oversight and clarity across the Group.
His impact extends far beyond traditional governance. As the Group’s representative in the Sustainability Champions Program by the Ministry of Economy and Planning, Hazem mentored five Saudi companies on their ESG journeys. He also led the creation of the Group’s first Sustainability Strategy and Report, including a full materiality assessment, a dedicated ESG data platform, and a KPI-driven roadmap with ambitious long-term goals.
He has also played a central role in enabling effective board governance by redefining the Group’s Delegation of Authority and activating board committees, strengthening decision-making across the organization.
In close collaboration with Inter IKEA, Hazem ensured that Alsulaiman Group remains aligned with global compliance standards — specifically IConduct and IWAY — reinforcing our integrity and commitment throughout the supply chain.
Beyond his internal leadership, Hazem is a recognized voice in regional forums, sharing his expertise in family business governance, succession planning, and board structuring. He completed executive programs at MIT Sloan and Yale School of Management, solidifying his role as a thought leader in institutional governance.
With over 18 years of experience — including 10 years with KPMG leading risk consulting mandates — Hazem’s leadership has helped elevate the Group’s strategic readiness, transparency, and reputation both locally and regionally.
